I craft images from both found and traditional materials. These creations become narratives, characters and atmospheres in a variety of theatrical spectacles. Through conversations and collaborations with the people and objects that surround me, I seek to nurture community connections and to build art that is connected to place.

I owe my artistry to my mother. My childhood of scrapped knees, wood forts, teddy bear soap operas and elaborate piñatas instilled in me an adventurous creative life force. Thank you Mom.
This creative force was fed throughout a nursing career by turning lawns to gardens, starting up a screen printing business and an enduring meditative practice of drawing and painting.
In 2016 I apprenticed with Bread and Puppet Theatre in Glover, Vermont. This experience shifted my visual art practice towards performance and puppetry. My ongoing work with Bread and Puppet complements my current independent performance practice.
